'Combatting police violence through policy and public safety' | Memphis museum hosts 'Resilience' symposium

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The National Civil Rights Museum is hosting a symposium seeking to find solutions to police violence on Friday, March 22.

This event is called "The Resilience: Combatting Police Violence through Policy and Public Safety," and pursues to equip attendees with strategies to fight police violence through policy and community-led alternatives to traditional public safety methods. 

The session will be the final part in the Museum's series aimed at highlighting historical connections of systemic racial violence to find solutions for today.
