SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — A teen is dead after a two-vehicle crash happened early Monday morning in southeast Shelby County.
The Shelby County Sheriff's Office said the crash occurred around 2 a.m., Feb. 26, at Forest Hill Irene Rd. and East Shelby Dr. A 15-year-old boy was taken to Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital in critical condition, but later died.
The Shelby County Sheriff's Office said both vehicles involved were stolen, and they are investigating the crash and the circumstances leading to the thefts.
