UPDATE 10/26/17: On Wednesday, October 25 officers responded to a shooting at 610 E. Shelby Drive where they found a 33-year-old Carla Moore lying on the living room floor suffering from a gunshot wound. Moore was taken to Regional One where she died.
According to Memphis Police, 24-year-old Anthony Harris, Moore’s live-in boyfriend, said he left the house, and when he returned he found the victim shot. Harris also told officers that the back door had been kicked in.
Through the investigation, Homicide Investigators found that Harris made up the story surrounding his girlfriend’s death. Harris was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.

Memphis Police say a woman is dead after a shooting Wednesday on Shelby Drive.
It happened about noon in the 600 block of East Shelby Drive. Police have not said what led to the shooting.
Investigators have not released any information on suspects.
