MEMPHIS, Tenn — A carjacking lead to a police chase on Saturday morning that ended with multiple cars being hit, according to Memphis Police, but they said no deaths took place as a result.
Police said that officers responded to the 4300 block of American Way shortly after 11 a.m. and the suspect who was driving refused to stop.
Officers said they started a pursuit that ended in the area of Knight Arnold Road and then ended after the suspect was involved in a crash at Hickory Hill Road.
This crash involved three other vehicles and one person on one of these vehicles was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries, Memphis Police said.
This suspect is in custody, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
