MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A child is in critical condition after an apparent accidental shooting Friday night.
According to the Memphis Police Department, the 6-year-old was shot in the 500 block of Wesley Woods. Officers were flagged down near Trinity and Germantown by someone who was taking the child to the hospital in a private vehicle. There is no word on how the child got the gun.
