MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police canceled a City Watch Alert and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation canceled a Silver Alert for an elderly woman who disappeared after leaving a local hospital after she was found safe.
Police said the 79-year-old had been missing since June 7, 2024. MPD said she was discharged from Baptist East Hospital and disappeared.
Then on June 27, MPD said the woman was found and is safe. Further details were not released.
