COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Collierville’s Chief of Police is stepping down from his post, effective immediately.
In a letter Friday to Collierville Mayor Stan Joyner and theBoard of Aldermen, David Tillner said, “This correspondence shall serve as myofficial notification of my retirement from the Town of Collierville effectiveFriday 12/20/2019 at 5:00 p.m.”
The letter did not elaborate any further.
Tillner was named Chief of Police in June 2018. He succeeded Larry Goodwin, who had been chief since 1999. Tillner started with Collierville Police in 1989.
