MEMPHIS, Tenn. — According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), a crash on 385 and Ridgeway left one person dead and another injured on Tuesday.
MPD said officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on 385 and Ridgeway around 5 p.m.
One person was dead on the scene, while another was taken in critical condition to Baptist East, police said.
TDOT SmartWay cameras showed traffic backed up for miles, and congestion continued for hours until just before 9 p.m.
