Memphis police urge public to avoid B.B. King and Court Avenue after crashes on Sunday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police have urged the public to avoid the area of B.B. King and Court Avenue after a crash Sunday morning. Additionally, there was another separate crash at Lamar Avenue and South Barksdale, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD). 

Officers said they responded to the two-vehicle crash at B.B. King and Court around 9 a.m., according to MPD. One man was transported to Regional One in critical condition, according to MPD.

This is an ongoing investigation, according to MPD.

Another crash took place in the area of Lamar Avenue and South Barksdale on Saturday night, according to MPD. They said they responded at around 11 p.m. and that one man was transported to Regional One in critical condition.,
