MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after being hit by a car in the Parkway Village area and the suspect has not been found, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
Officers said they responded to the area of South Perkins Road and Judy Lynn Avenue at about 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27.
Officers said that a dark-colored SUV struck a pedestrian and that the driver drove away, continuing south on South Perkins Road.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead, according to MPD.
The dark-colored SUV should have hood and front-end damage, according to MPD.
