MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) responded to an injury crash on Wednesday morning, Nov. 13, on TN State Highway 385 West.

According to THP's preliminary report, three patrol cars were parked in the left lane on the highway with their emergency lights on during a crash investigation.

A fourth car, traveling west in the left lane, crashed into  the back of an unoccupied THP patrol car. This impact pushed the THP patrol car into a marked Shelby County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) patrol car. The SCSO patrol car was then forced into the back of an occupied THP patrol car. The unoccupied THP patrol car caught fire and caught the SCSO patrol car on fire.

The driver of the fourth vehicle is reportedly the only injured individual in the incident.
