GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — Fire crews battled heavy smoke and flames at an apartment complex in Germantown on Wednesday afternoon.
The fire happened at the Fountain Square Condominiums on Oct. 30 in the 1800 block Poplar Woods Circle., where Germantown and Bartlett firefighters worked to put the smoke out, according to Germantown City officials.
Germantown Police said Poplar Avenue between International Drive and Kirby Parkway was reduced to one lane for traffic heading east Wednesday afternoon.
The Germantown Fire Department said there was "significant damage" to four of the units at the complex. No injuries have been reported.
Germantown officials said they were still investigating the cause of the fire as of Thursday, Oct. 31.
