MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A house went up in flames Wednesday morning in East Memphis after someone set fire to the home, Memphis city spokesperson said.
Firefighters with the Memphis Fire Department were on the scene Sept. 4, 2024, around 5 a.m. in the 200 block of North Mendenhall Road.
An ABC24 photographer caught video of firefighters trying to extinguish the fire engulfing the house.
A spokesperson with the fire department said arson caused the fire, which originated in the house' hallway.
No injuries were reported.
