Dozens of people came out Sunday for the Mutts in Spring fundraiser benefiting the Savior Foundation and Tunica Humane Society.
It was the third year for the event, held at Ecco on Overton Park. All money goes to dogs in need.
The day included appetizers, drinks, live music, and a silent auction.
The Savior Foundation says they work with the Tunica Humane Society many times on rescues.
“We were involved with Joey the dog that was starved,” says Mario Chiozza, of the Savior Foundation. “The Savior Foundation went in with Tunica to provide an internal medicine specialist for Joey to save him.”
