It’s a dream come true for a little boy battling cancer. All of Germantown High School cheered as 8-year old Geremy’s wish to go to Disney World was granted Friday.
The student body joined together to raise money through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Disney wasn’t the only surprise for Geremy. Since he wants to become a police officer, Germantown police were on hand to show off one of their patrol cars.
Geremy’s mom says his goal to be an officer came as a surprise.
“We’ll, I just recently found out he wanted to be a police officer. I always thought he wanted to be a basketball player. So, him being a police officer is pretty cool,” says Jaquita Griffin.
Geremy says he loves all of the Disney characters but is excited to meet his favorite one: Mickey Mouse.
