Germantown Police, DEA to host drug takeback event at Kroger

GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — Looking to rid yourself of unused or expired medications? Germantown wants to help.

The Germantown Police Department is working with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Saturday, Oct. 26, to offer people the opportunity to dispose of pills or patches on National Prescription Drug Takeback Day. 

The event will be held at Kroger from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 7735 Farmington Boulevard. All you need to do is drop off your medication.

The organizers will not take aerosol inhalers, liquids, needles or sharps.
