MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – You could call it a multi-million dollar slam dunk. Memphis Tigers men’s basketball head coach Penny Hardaway just spent more than $4.25 million for a mansion on Goodwyn Street, which is right next to the Memphis Country Club.
The 11,000 square foot house features four bedrooms, 4 fireplaces, and a 4-car garage. There is also a guest house and wine cellar.
He bought it from Brad Martin, the former interim president of the University of Memphis and CEO of Saks.
It’s a big purchase considering reports that his three-year contract he signed with the University of Memphis in 2018 is worth at least $4.8 million.
