MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One man was seriously injured after a shooting near the Highland strip, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
MPD said they responded shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday and the shooting took place at 521 South Highland. This is the location of Ubee's, a bar that also saw a stabbing and two shootings take place in August of 2022.
MPD said the victim Saturday night was transported to critical condition at Methodist University. Two men are detained, according to MPD. This is an ongoing investigation, according to MPD.
