The Eastbound and Westbound lanes on U.S. Highway 64 and Appling Road that were completely shut down have now been reopened, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
The closure was due to live wires being down across lanes, according to MPD.
Drivers were advised to use alternate routes, MPD said.
MPD issued the closing advisory at 11 a.m. Friday.
