COVINGTON, Tenn. — A historical building collapsed during high winds in downtown Covington on Monday evening, according to the Covington Police Department.
The collapse happened Feb. 26 at 100 East Spring Street. Police said drones videos and pictures confirmed no one was in the building at the time when the site fell apart.
The street was closed for a few hours to allow Covington Public Works and the Covington Fire Department to clear the roadway.
No injuries were reported.
Police have not confirmed what caused the building to fall.
