MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three family pets are dead after a house fire broke out in Cordova Friday morning.
The Shelby County Fire Department responded to the fire July 19, 2024, around 9:30 a.m. in the 8000 block of Bazemore Road, near Shelley Renee Lane.
Fire fighters said the fire began in the kitchen, and family members were not in the house at the time. However, they confirmed that the family's dog, cat and rabbit died in the incident.
The house is likely a complete lost, officials said.
