A murder-suicide has rocked a small town in MarshallCounty, Mississippi.
A candidate for state representative pulled thetrigger.
Police say Carl Robinson killed his wife, LatoyaThompson, while she was working as a receptionist. It happened at the WilliamsMedical Clinic in Potts Camp around ten Tuesday morning. Police say Robinsonshot his wife and then shot himself in the head. She died while on a flight to RegionalOne in Memphis.
Investigators say the two were going through adivorce and were fighting for child custody.
Robinson was a democratic candidate on the Augustballot, aiming to represent district 5, which is the area of Holly Springs.
