A westward lane on I-240 was blocked after a crash involving multiple vehicles took place Saturday night, according to Tennessee traffic officials.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) said a crash at "mile marker 24.2" was reported toward 7 p.m. This landmark is shortly after the Airways Boulevard exit moving westward.
The westbound right lane was blocked, according to TDOT as of about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The left shoulder and right shoulder are blocked, they said.
By 9 p.m. the road appeared clear.
The Memphis Police Department (MPD) said that there were specifically three vehicles involved in the crash.
