MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said all four eastbound lanes on I-40 west of Whitten Road are closed Sunday as they search for the suspect of a deadly hit-and-run crash.
Officers said they responded toward 5 a.m. to find one man that was dead on the scene. The driver did not remain on the scene, according to MPD.
Police encourage drivers to use alternate routes.
