Lamborghini stolen in Cooper Young found in East Memphis

Memphis Police said no one has been charged and they are still looking for suspects.

MEMPHIS, Tenn — Memphis police said a Lamborghini stolen from a parking lot in the heart of Cooper Young has been found in East Memphis.

MPD announced Wednesday, Nov. 8 the car was found in the 1100 block of Railton Rd., not far from Sherwood Park. No one has been charged as of Wednesday morning.

Officers said they responded about 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, at 945 South Cooper Street and were told the victim parked his 2016 red Lamborghini Huracan in the parking lot at the corner of Cooper Street and Young Avenue.

Police said a white vehicle had parked next to the Lamborghini, and a short time later, both vehicles were driven north on South Cooper Avenue. 

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 901-528-2274 (CASH) with tips.

The victim's vehicle was located in the 1100 block of Railton Road. No charges have been filed at this time. Call 901-528-CASH with any information on the suspect.
