NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – A lawyer for a Tennessee man accused of fatally stabbing two people at a bar and wounding another says evidence shows his client acted in self-defense.
Defense attorney Justin Johnson tells The Tennessean that a reviewof the limited evidence in the case shows 23-year-old Michael Mosley wasdefending himself.
Mosley is charged with two counts of criminal homicide and onecount of attempted criminal homicide in the Dec. 21 incident.
Nashville police have said Mosley made an “unwantedadvancement” toward a female friend of the victims, and an argumentbetween the groups turned physical.
Johnson says more evidence is expected to be shared at apreliminary hearing on Jan. 7.
