MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a shooting in Cordova, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
MPD officers responded to a shooting on the 3400 Block of Deer Run Cove just after 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.
After arriving on the scene, police located a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
MPD says this is an ongoing investigation.
