MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating after they said a pedestrian was hit by a car in southeast Memphis Monday morning,
MPD officers responded to the scene just after 10 a.m. Jan. 1, 2024, at Kirby Rd. and Kirby Trace Cove. They found a man had been hit by a vehicle. He was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators have not said if the driver stayed on the scene or if any charges will be filed.
Police have asked that everyone avoid the area while the investigation continues.
