MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person has died and four were injured after a crash Wednesday morning in Marshall County, Mississippi.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol said Tihesha L. Joyner of Collierville, Tennessee, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved, died at the scene.
Investigators said just after 10 a.m. March 20, 2024, a 2022 Dodge Ram was headed east on Highway 302 when a 2009 Honda Accord traveling north on Cayce Rd. tried to make a left turn onto the highway and the two vehicles collided.
They said Joyner was a passenger in the Accord. The driver of that car and two other passengers, as well as the driver of the Ram, were taken to the hospital with “moderate injuries.”
MHP said the crash is still under investigation.
