MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com)- Two people are dead after a Megabus crash in Montgomery County, Illinois. The bus was headed to Memphis.
Illinois State Police say it happened on I-55 just North of Farmersville around 12:30 Sunday morning.
Officers say a driver was going in the wrong direction, hit another car head on and caused that car to hit another car and an 18-wheeler. One of the cars was sitting in the middle of I-55 when the Megabus hit them.
Two drivers died. The driver of the Megabus was seriously injured and five of the 54 passengers were also injured, but are expected to be okay.
