Most of the time you hear about humans being blessed, but today it was the blessing of the pets!
People took their pets to St. Edwards Chapel at Trezevant’s Retirement Community to receive a blessing and a treat.
The event started as a way to commemorate St. Francis’ love for animals.
This was the 10th year for the blessing.
