MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are searching for the driver who hit a child near Willow Oaks Elementary School Monday morning.
MPD officers said they responded to a call about a pedestrian struck by a car at Willow Rd. and Cherry Rd. the morning of Aug. 19, 2024. They found a 9-year-old child who had been struck and is expected to be okay. They said the child was treated at the scene.
Investigators said the driver who hit the child took off. They have not released a description of the vehicle.
