MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Applications are now open for the Memphis City Council Community Grant Program, which allocates funding for nonprofit organizations.
Applications will be open until July 19. Eligible organizations need to be registered as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization, have an official address within the City of Memphis, have been in operation for at least two years, and will also need to attend a virtual grant writing and administration workshop, provided by the city.
The Memphis City Council says they are looking to "empower nonprofit organizations that seek to improve the Memphis community through local programs that target the City of Memphis priorities: Crime and Drug Prevention, Youth Empowerment, Economic Development, and Poverty."
