MEMPHIS, Tenn — According to the Memphis Fire Department (MFD), a fire at Fair View Inn was cause by a faulty AC unit.
MFD said the motel fire at 1321 Sycamore View Rd (Fair View Inn) was under control as of around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.
The fire started on the 2nd floor in an unoccupied room, MFD said.
MFD said around three units suffered smoke and fire damage.
The cause of the fire was a faulty AC unit, according to MFD.
Memphis Fire said no injuries were reported.
