MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Fire Department investigators are looking for more information after an overnight arson at a home in Frayser.
MFD crews responded to the fire just before 1 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, in the 1900 block of The Elms Ave. They said the home was vacant, and someone started the fire with combustibles in the kitchen.
Investigators said there was not a working smoke detector, and no one was injured. Damages totaled about $35,000.
