MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com)- Christmas came early for some kids at a local hospital on Sunday.
Memphis Grizzlies guard De’Anthony Melton delivered more than 200 toys to the children at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
Melton says he did it to lift the kids’ spirits during this season of giving while they go through treatment.
“It feels good, especially to give back,” said De’Anthony Melton, Grizzlies guard. “I have little brothers too so I know how much it means to them to get presents and see an older figure come by and just smile, laugh with them so I’m having a blast here.”
Melton also stayed to take pictures and hang out with some of the kids.
