MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead and another is fighting for his life after a car crashed into a pole after colliding with another car on S. Third Street and West Holmes Road.
The Memphis Police Department said their officers responded to the scene of a two-car crash on S. Third Street and West Holmes Road around 6:15 a.m. Friday. The cars ran into a pole during the crash.
Two men were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, and one did not survive.
MPD said people should avoid the area at this time, as all northbound and southbound lanes on S. Third are shut down for 200 yards in each direction.
