Tuesday marked one year since a 10-year-old was killed while riding in a car in south Memphis. Memphis police are making a desperate plea for help solving the murder of Richard Jordan.
MPD says it received only 17 tips in a year, and none of them have led to a suspect.
The shooting happened at Airways and Ketchum. Surveillance video shows two cars police are searching for in connection to the crime; a black Chrysler 300 a gold Chevy Malibu.
Investigators are now asking the community to come together to bring justice to the family.
“We know there’s somebody who knows something, we know. It’s impossible. Someone knew what was being planned. Those are the people we’re trying to reach out to today,” said Major Lambert Ross.
