MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said everything is clear after a report of a bomb threat Downtown Tuesday morning.
MPD officers responded to the threat about 10:20 a.m. Jan. 30, 2024, at 80 Monroe Ave., near Main St. Officers said the building was evacuated as a precaution, and the bomb squad made the scene.
Investigators said the bomb unit determined an “item in question was not an explosive device.”
Police said two people who had been detained as part of the initial investigation were released.
