MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department (MPD) is investigating two unrelated overnight shootings with injuries Thursday morning.
MPD received a shooting call with injuries just before 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, in the 2800 block of Faxon Avenue.
Two men were sent to Regional One Health in critical condition, according to MPD. One later died.
Just before 4 a.m. on Sept. 19, MPD received another shooting call with injuries, at the intersection of Mississippi Boulevard and Walker Avenue.
The victim was taken to Regional One in critical condition, says MPD.
Both shootings are currently under investigation.
