Memphis police looking for suspects after separate shootings between Saturday and Sunday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department (MPD) said that there were multiple shootings between Saturday and Sunday with no suspect information available to disclose to the public.

Officers said the responded shortly before 9 p.m. on Saturday night to a shooting at Fourth Street and Peabody Place. A child was transported to Regional One in critical injuries but later died, according to MPD. 

This is an ongoing investigation, according to MPD.

Towards 6 a.m. Sunday, MPD said they responded to a shooting in the 6900 block of Stone Ridge Drive. One man was transported to critical condition at Regional One, according to MPD. 

This is also an ongoing investigation, according to MPD.

Near noon on Sunday, officers responded to another shooting in the 3300 block of South Third Street, according to MPD. One man was found to be dead at the scene, according to MPD.
