When it comes to beating the heat, popsicles are a delicious and fun way to stay cool. One Memphis business is looking to give those classic summer treats an extra kick for adults.
Mempops has announced they will now be able to make their famous popsicles with alcohol in them.
You will not be able to buy the booze-filled pops at the Mempops store. Instead, they can be ordered for special and private events.
The folks at Mempops are even open to flavor suggestions from customers looking to place an order.
“There’s a million ideas. A lime ginger is great. You put vodka in it, it’d be a Moscow Mule. Things like that. All of those classic pairings, we can turn it into a booze pop,” says Chris Taylor, the owner of Mempops.
Taylor says the alcohol-filled pops haven’t technically debuted yet since no one has placed an order, but they are looking forward to promoting their newest idea in the future.
