Nearly 425 pounds of methamphetamine has been seized and three people have been arrested in connection to the seizure in Nashville, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).
This was part of a multi-agency investigation that included the Drug Investigation division of the TBI, Wilson County Sheriff's Office, Homeland Security Investigation's Violent Gang Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Administration's Nashville Task Force Group 1, according to the TBI.
The TBI said that based on information gathered over the past year of an operation within the Middle Tennessee area, agents and detectives conducted a search warrant at a house on Hillwood Private Cove in Nashville.
Large amounts of money as well as the mentioned meth were found in this house, according to the TBI.
Federal criminal complaints were taken out on Friday against Zachery Manier of Murfreesboro, Danny Ray Jones of Costa Mesa, California and Reginald Levon Cooper of Nashville, according to the TBI.
Each is charged with one count of manufacture, distribute, or dispense or possess with intent Methamphetamines a controlled substance and one count conspiracy to possess with Intent to distribute a quality of a mixture and substance containing Methamphetamine, according to the TBI.
They all are reportedly in federal custody as of press time. The investigation remains active and ongoing, according to the TBI.
