MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have confirmed a woman who was reported missing just after the New Year has been found dead.
MPD said Domonic Davis, 40, was reported missing on Jan. 1, 2024, and had last been seen on Dec. 30 in the Summer Ave. and High Point Terrace area. They said at the time family members had not heard from her.
Thursday, Jan. 4, investigators confirmed Davis was found dead near an overpass at Sam Cooper Blvd. and High Point Terrace. They have not said how she died.
MPD said the “circumstances and details surrounding her death are currently under investigation.” They have not said yet if anyone has been charged in her death.
