A crash took place on Highway 4 in Tate County on Friday where a 17-year-old lost their life, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
A 2023 Ford F-350 was traveling west on Highway 4 when it collided with a 2005 Toyota Corolla that was travelling south on Highway 305, they said.
This Corolla was attempting to make a left turn on Highway 4, according to the highway patrol. The 17-year-old that was driving the Corolla was found to be dead on the scene, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
The other driver received moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
