MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police Department officers are investigating after responding to a shooting victim Wednesday morning along I-240 between Getwell and Perkins.
MPD said officers arrived at the scene at 5:18 a.m. They said it is unclear what led to the shooting or where exactly the shooting happened.
Investigators said a victim was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
They did not have any information on suspects.
