MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department (MPD) says a unoccupied police squad car was hit by a passerby while officers were working a crash scene on I-40.
Just after 3:40 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, MPD responded to a one car crash at I-40 East and Sycamore View.
While officers were working the crash a passerby hit an unoccupied MPD squad car.
No injuries were reported for either crash, according to MPD.
This is an ongoing investigation.
