A murder conviction for a Lake County Tennessee man is being thrown out in part, because of Shelby County DA Amy Weirich’s interference.
The Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals Friday decided to throw out the conviction for Joshua Bargery and order a new trial.
The court cited interference involving Weirich.
Weirich admitted she contacted the Memphis Police Director when she heard an officer in the department was going to testify for the defense, which is not admissible.
That officer did not testify.
