Rates for metered parking will increase to $1.50 per hour. Operation and enforcement of metered parking will run Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Central Business District, Medical District, Juvenile Court, and north of Poplar. Parking will be limited in these areas to two-hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and a four-hour limit of Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

In the Entertainment District and South Main, operation and enforcement runs longer – Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Parking is limited to two-hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., four-hours on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and six-hours Monday through Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

You can pre-pay for metered parking beginning at 6:00 a.m. at any meter. Pre-paid time will be applied beginning at 8:00 a.m. Remaining time left on a metered receipt can be used at any other parking kiosk prior to the expiration time on the printed receipt.

Informational signs on the new rates will go up the last week of May, and the new rates will be enforced June 1st.
