MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police said one person is dead after a shooting that took took place in the 700 block of South Goodlett Street, and now they are investigating the case.
Officers said that they responded around 6 p.m. and found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. This man was found to be dead at the scene, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
Police said that preliminary information suggested that this was a domestic violence incident and that the victim was known to the suspect and vice versa.
